Two people in a Mercedes-Benz were arrested Tuesday night at the end of a freeway pursuit in Orange County.
The chase began after the driver took off during a traffic stop in Westminster and entered the 22 Freeway. A weapon was tossed from the car before the driver exited the 605 Freeway at Katella Avenue and surrendered.
The driver and a passenger, both wanted for outstanding warrants, were taken into custody.
Details about the weapon thrown from the car were not immediately available.
