Suspect Dead, Sheriff's Deputy Injured in East LA Shooting

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot in East Los Angeles late Monday night.

LASD responded to a call on the 3600 block of De Garmo Dr and Rowan Ave at around 11:40 p.m.

On Twitter, LASD said the deputy was shot in the upper torso and was transported to LAC+USC Medical Center along with one of the suspects.
