A security guard was fatally shot in San Francisco Monday morning, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Arelious Walker Drive and Fitzgerald Avenue near Candlestick Point, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital but later pronounced dead, police said.
