San Francisco police have submitted findings to prosecutors of their investigation into the public altercation last week between San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer and his wife.

The District Attorney’s Office will decide whether to bring charges. Deputy Chief of Staff Alex Bastian told NBC Bay Area “We are reviewing it.”

The incident garnered national attention after a video posted on TMZ Sports showed the two in a heated argument during which Baer appears to pull his cell phone from his wife, Pam, as she clings to the device and is seen tipping over in her chair and falling to the pavement.

Police interviewed Larry Baer as part of the investigation.

Pam Baer acknowledged in a statement that she took his cell phone and then didn’t want to return it.

“I started to get up and the chair I was sitting in began to tip. Due to an injury I sustained in my foot three days ago, I lost my balance. I did not sustain any injury based on what happened today. Larry and I always have been and still are happily married.”

Larry Baer, who is now on leave from his post, said in a statement that he was sorry for the pain that he “brought to my wife, children and to the organization. It is not reflective of the kind of a person that I aspire to be, but it happened and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I never behave in such an inappropriate manner again.”
