Concord Police Seeking Motel 6 Fatal Shooting Suspects

Arrest warrants have been issued for two men suspected in the late Friday night death of a third man after a shooting at a Concord motel, police said Saturday afternoon.

Adam Renfroe, 32, of Brentwood and Robert Brown, a 40-year-old Bay Point resident, are sought in connection with the shooting death of Daniel Schrader, who was found about 11:15 p.m. Friday at the Motel 6 in the 3600 block of Clayton Road. He was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he later died.

Brown was tracked to a home in Bay Point, where Concord Police SWAT members served a search warrant Saturday afternoon. Neither Brown nor Renfroe was located, and the search for the two men continued late Saturday afternoon, police said.

Renfroe and Brown are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees them should approach them, but should call 911 or the local police department or sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Concord police Detective Kevin Giacoletto at (925) 671-3040 or the tip line

at (925) 603-5836.
