Some lanes of the westbound Interstate 580 connector to westbound Interstate 80 in the East Bay are blocked due to a big-rig that caught fire earlier Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One lane of the connector has reopened, but two lanes remain closed. It is not clear when the entire connector will reopen.
The big-rig was reportedly carrying cooking oil.
