A driver who led a police chase was tackled and arrested in Yorba Linda after aggressively approaching officers who had disabled his Tesla Friday night.
The man drove over a spike strip that blew out one of his tires, causing his car to slow to a stop around 11:15 p.m. on the 91 Freeway. That’s when he exited the vehicle and walked toward California Highway Patrol officers with an aggressive posture.
Several officers then tackled the man, who continued to struggle before being handcuffed.
The chase had started around 10:28 p.m. on the 105 Freeway after the man committed a carpool violation and took off, the CHP said.
