A construction worker has fallen from a 40-foot platform between Mission and Market streets in San Francisco, fire officials confirmed in a tweet.
The worker is in serious condition at a local trauma center.
Fire officials have asked people to avoid the area of 11th Street between Mission and Market Streets.
No other information was immediately available.
