Roof Collapses in SF Blaze; Firefighters Evacuated

A two-alarm fire was burning a structure Wednesday night in San Francisco’s Bayview District, fire officials said on Twitter.

The fire was first reported at 6:27 p.m. at 29 Thornton Ave. near Third Street.

Firefighters were being evacuated from the structure because the roof collapsed, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.

No further details were immediately available.
