With the rise in homelessness, drug use and a work class that continues to struggle to stay ahead of cost of living increase, rent and all the wonders that are California, the entire state is like a star on the verge of going supernova.
Much like in 2006-2008, as people watched the wind-up and the pitch of the credit crisis, watching in a haze of confusion knowing nothing made sense but accepting the market forces anyway. If that doesn’t help you understand, it’s like the UK leaving the EU on a vote by the people whom were encouraged by politicians seeking to secure power more that they cared about their own country. The UK is a disaster with untold damages. Legalization of recreational marijuana is kinda like that, except far worse. Marijuana will exacerbate an already emerging problem in the state and put at risk all those that live there, no matter the neighborhood. The problem will bleed into every community. Crime of untold magnitude.
All people need to is look at the “REAL” data coming out of states like Washington and Colorado. Look at the graduations rates and college acceptance rates declining. Access to Marijuana bleeds out of the adult recreational use into schools. I’ve seen it in Washington, it’s happening. Kids are falling apart. The last man standing will be the one that keeps his/her kids close and explains what’s going on while legislators decide it the income from pot is going the save the state. Wait while the pot lobby assholes sell you on benefits and economic benefits. It’s all a joke.
If I could short the state of California tomorrow, I’d everything they were offering. Unless things change, it’s all going down.
New York City in the 80’s was a small representation of the current California State. Drugs, homelessness, disrepair, despair, crime on the streets. It took a two planes into world trade, a ton of federal dollars to clean up and wire the entire city with cameras, a mayor like Giuliani that was unafraid to kick the asses of organized and unorganized crime as well as the attitudes of hated his tactics. Like a bull, he solved prostitution, drug addicts on the streets, and trash. Michael Bloomberg solidified a city model that was sustainable making the entire city a place you simply can’t live in or exist in unless your loaded. The moral of the this little story? California needs LEADERS because it has NONE. Everyone is in someone’s pocket or flying their banner. We need leaders that are strong and some that are ABOVE the influence!
