New Year's Eve Events in the Bay Area

As the clock strikes midnight, the Bay Area will be ringing in the New Year in style with events for all ages to enjoy.

List of NYE Events in the Bay Area:

San Francisco:

1. New Year’s Eve Fireworks in San Francisco

Where: SF Ferry Building

When: 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31 2018

2. New Year’s Eve Cruises

Where: San Francisco

NYE 2019 New Years Fireworks Cruise on SF Bay

3. New Year’s Eve One Day Run in Crissy Field

You can choose from 3 different times to run a 1.061 mile loop in Crissy Field.

4. NYE at the SF Jazz Center

Two shows beginning at 8pm and another at 10:30pm for members only. The second show will include complimentary champagne and a balloon drop at midnight.

Oakland:

1. New Years Eve Balloon Drop

Where: Chabot Space & Science Center, 10000 Skyline Blvd, Oakland

An all age event, families can celebrate when the clock strikes midnight in other countries and a can also explore the museum. Members can register for the festivities, the general public can begin booking slots on Dec. 10. (11 a.m, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.)

2. Motown on Mondays NYE Party

Where: The Legionnaire Saloon, 2272 Telegraph Ave.

The 21+ event will kick off remixes to Motown hits and will end with a midnight toast.

3. A Special New Year’s Eve Performance of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill

To celebrate the famed album by Lauryn Hill, she will perform her hits at Oakland’s Fox Theatre.

4. NYE with Too Short
