Magnitude 2.9 Earthquake Strikes South Bay: USGS

A preliminary magnitude 2.9 earthquake struck Monday afternoon about 10 miles southeast of San Jose, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The temblor was reported at 4:05 p.m.
