M2.5 Earthquake Strikes Northeast of San Jose: USGS

A preliminary 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck northeast of San Jose, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit at about 3:37 a.m. and was centered 13.6 miles east-northeast of downtown San Jose, the USGS said.
