Firefighters battled a four-alarm brush fire near westbound Interstate 580 in Oakland Monday.
The fire was reported near the Edwards Avenue exit around 6:20 p.m. and was contained around 7:30 p.m., firefighters said.
“Incident appears to have been caused by a vehicle fire,” tweeted the Oakland Fire Department.
No structured were impacted and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters will remain at the scene to put out hot spots.
