Fire crews and police responded to an incident at the Arena Hotel on the Alameda in San Jose.
Video from the scene showed a police presence and the intersection that was blocked off.
The hotel was recently converted into housing for the unhoused.
NBC Bay Area has reached out to the San Jose Fire Department on the situation.
