All train service north of Santa Clara is currently stopped after a person was killed in an incident with an Amtrak train Saturday afternoon, according to multiple train services.
According to police, the person killed was a child under 18 years of age. It appears that the death was the result of an accident.
This service interruption includes Capitol Corridor, Amtrak and ACE trains.
There is no estimated time of reopening.
