
A Contra Costa County resident has tested positive for coronavirus, health officials said Tuesday.
The resident is being treated at a hospital in the county and is Contra Costa County’s first local case of coronavirus.
Officials said the patient had no known travel history and did not have any known contacts with anyone infected with the virus.
Contra Costa County Health Services is set to hold a press conference to provide more updates Tuesday night.
