The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a second homicide this week along a stretch of State Route 35, also known as Skyline Boulevard.
State Route 35 is closed between Reids Roost Road and Swett Road as authorities conduct their investigation Wednesday morning. It is not clear when the roadway will reopen.
Officials said the recent homicide may be linked to the death of 32-year-old Pacifica resident Abdulmalek Nagi Nasher, whose body was found on the side of the road in the same area late Monday night.
At least one person has been taken into custody, according to the sheriff’s office.
No additional information was immediately available.
