2-Alarm Structure Fire Spreads to Trees, Other Homes in San Jose

Firefighters in San Jose are battling a two-alarm structure fire which has spread to trees and other houses, the department reported at 6 p.m. on Saturday on Twitter.

The fire is located in the 1600 block of Callecita Street and homes around it are burning or are in threat of burning due to the fire’s spread via trees, the department said.

No injuries have been reported so far.

Crews had previously battled an outdoor recycling debris fire on Leo Avenue, which was under control by 4:22 p.m.
