14 Displaced by 3-Alarm Structure Fire in San Jose

Seven children and seven adults were displaced from their homes due to a fire in San Jose Monday night, fire officials said.

The blaze was first reported at 9:14 p.m. in the 5600 block of Via Monte. As of 11:08 p.m., firefighters had knocked down the fire, according to fire officials.

The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents. No one was injured, fire officials said. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
