1 person dead, 2 kids hospitalized after crash in San Mateo

The annual Vintage Computer Festival kicks off Friday on the Peninsula.

The event at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View shows visitors the technology that launched Silicon Valley.

The festival allows visitors to experience hands-on demonstrations of historical systems from the 1960s through the 1990s, including brands like Apple, Atari, Commodore and Tandy/Radio Shack.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets and more info online.
