Two California Highway Patrol officers were injured Wednesday morning when their patrol SUV crashed into a tree in Culver City.
The crash was reported just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bristol Parkway near Green Valley Circle. The SUV slammed head-on into a tree near the top of an embankment.
A detainee was in the SUV at the time, but details about why the person was in custody were not clear.
Details about what led to the crash and the officers’ conditions were not immediately available.
Bristol Parkway was closed in both directions from Green Valley Circle to Uplander Way, the Culver City Police Department said.
