Winner! Mega Millions ticket worth $2.26 million sold in San Francisco

The deadline for an emergency loan to keep Bay Area public transit running has been extended.

Initially, Friday was the deadline for the governor to sign off on a $750 million loan already approved by state lawmakers, but now talks can continue until January.

“We are working with all stakeholders on the parameters of a funding deal,” the office of Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement. “Our shared goal is to agree on the terms of a deal by this fall.”
