Walk-on RB King Miller powers hard-nosed USC to a 31-13 victory over No. 15 Michigan

Police are investigating Friday a group of armed robbery suspects responsible for a brazen daylight theft outside a West Hollywood apartment.

The victim, a man visiting from San Francisco, was robbed of his belongings and jewelry, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The robbery was reported around 5:45 p.m. in the 1100 block of Hacienda Place just north of Santa Monica Boulevard.

Security camera footage shared with NBCLA by the WeHo Times shows at least three burglary suspects hopping out of a vehicle and pointing what appears to be a weapon at the victim.

“There were three masked men, all dressed in black and they threw this guy down on the ground,” said Mike Pingel, a WeHo Times reporter who witnessed the robbery.

Among the items stolen were a Rolex watch, a wedding ring and a phone, which the thieves later through out, according to Pingel.

“I can’t even explain the sheer terror. They weren’t even following him. They just stopped, saw him walking and threw him to the ground and stole everything,” said Pingel.

It’s unclear how much the items that were stolen were worth.

No arrests have been made and the robbery is still under investigation.
