Two hospitalized after stabbing in North Hills

Police are searching for the person who stabbed two people in North Hills Monday night, the Los Angeles Police Department said. 

According to police, the victims and the attacker knew each other.

The Los Angeles Fire Department and officers with the LAPD responded to the 8900 block of Orion Avenue at around 10 p.m. Monday after reports of two people stabbed.

A man and a woman were transported in stable condition.

According to initial reports, a person entered the victims’ apartment and after a short altercation, stabbed them and then fled the scene, LAPD said. 

It was not clear if the person broke into the apartment. The investigation is ongoing.
