Contra Costa fire crews Thursday morning were battling a two-alarm fire at a church in Concord, according to the county fire district.
The fire was burning at the Christ Community Church of Nazarene, 1650 Ashbury Drive, down the street from Ellis Lake Park in Concord.
Officials asked that the public avoid the area.
No further details were immediately available.
