Neighbors help neighbors during the government shutdown.
Some are using Halloween as an opportunity to pass more than candy to those in need.
That includes Jon Ann Lindsay, who lives in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood.
She says she realized there was a need in her area, so she started telling people what she planned to do, and the donations started rolling in.
Lindsay joins Raj Mathai to talk about this initiative.
