The show must go on: Pacific Airshow attendees grieve over absent U.S. aircraft amid government shutdown

Over the first weekend of October, civilian and military aeronauts and expert pilots flew over Huntington Beach as part of the Pacific Airshow. This year, U.S. military aircraft were notably absent from the festivities as a consequence of the federal shutdown.
