Multiple earthquakes, the largest a 3.99 magnitude temblor, struck near Gilroy early Wednesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
Here’s a breakdown of the earthquake activity.
- 6:16 a.m. – 3.99 magnitude – 5 miles east of Gilroy
- 6:18 a.m. – 2.66 magnitude – 5.6 miles east of Gilroy
- 6:20 a.m. – 3.90 magnitude – 3.1 miles southeast of Gilroy
- 6:22 a.m. – 1.85 magnitude – 5.6 miles east of Gilroy
There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries.
