Preliminary 2.8 Magnitude Quake Rattles the East Bay

A preliminary 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck the East Bay early Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The epicenter was reported 2.7 miles of the city of Berkeley at 12:18 a.m.
