Thousands of residents in the Los Angeles area are reporting a power outage Saturday afternoon that is affecting several areas of LA County, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s website.
According to the LADWP, the outage was reported at 12:55 p.m. and power was restored to customers at 1:30 p.m.
The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
The LADWP’s Power Outage map showed that several neighborhoods were being affected.
According to the LADWP, 31,000 customers in the areas of Mid-Wilshire, Koreatown, Leimert Park and Baldwin Hills were affected by the outage.
