Two people were shot Thursday, at least one of them fatally, in the East Los Angeles area, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
First responders received two calls around 8:23 p.m. of two gunshot victims. One of the calls was at the 1000 block of Geraghty and the other on Hazard Avenue, just a few blocks away from each other, authorities said.
At least two people were shot following an argument, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
One of the victims died from gunshot injuries near City Terrace Park on Hazard Avenue.
