
Southern California Edison, a utility powering the Los Angeles area, is under the microscope for potentially starting two of the Los Angeles County wildfires.
One was small and did not damage any homes, but the second was the Eaton Fire that destroyed Altadena and killed at least 17 people.
Our Investigative Unit has obtained new cell phone video that captures the early moments of the Eaton Canyon fire. It shows flames around the base of a hillside electrical tower.
However, the power line had been decommissioned, meaning the tower was out of service with no power.
