Fire crews rescued multiple residents from a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in Oakland, according to a tweet from Oakland Firefighters.
The fire broke out around 6:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Santa Clara Avenue, firefighters said. It was contained a little less than an hour later.
Multiple people were rescued from hallways, stairwells and balconies, fire officials said.
It was unclear there were any injuries.
No further details were immediately available.
