Morgan Hill police ask public for help in finding missing woman

Morgan Hill police are asking for the public’s help finding 18-year-old Marissa DiNapoli — who was reported missing by her family on Monday — and a man who is considered a person of interest in her disappearance.

DiNapoli last communicated with family members via text on Saturday, according to police.

During that exchange, DiNapoli said she was going to stay overnight with a friend, but she didn’t come home the next day and hasn’t responded to calls from family members.

Police believe she was last seen at about 9:45 a.m. Sunday with a man named Martin Mendoza.
The two were allegedly seen leaving a home on Trail Drive, just outside of Morgan Hill and DiNapoli’s car was later found in the same area, according to police.

Mendoza allegedly wasn’t cooperative with investigators and is considered a person of interest in DiNapoli’s disappearance.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency immediately.

He is believed to be driving a white Toyota Camry with a license plate of either CW87W00 or 9PTM351.
Police addressed DiNapoli directly in their news release Wednesday: “Marissa, if you are reading this press release, please contact the Morgan Hill Police Department at (408) 779-2101.”

She is described as a Hispanic woman, about 5 feet tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information is asked contact Detective Kyle Tolentino at (669) 253-4962 or via email at kyle.tolentino@morganhill.ca.gov.
