A mail theft suspect was arrested in Redwood City on Friday early morning, according to the police department.
In the early morning, police said officers stopped on a vehicle suspected to be connected to recent mail theft cases in southern San Mateo County.
During the investigation, officers said stolen mail, checks, identification cards and financial information belonging to more than 20 victims were recovered. Authorities reported illegal narcotics were also located.
The suspect was arrested and booked on multiple felony theft and fraud-related charges, according to the police department.
