LAPD to change policy on use of informants after furor over decision to spy on anti-Trump group

Police Chief Michel Moore said the department will conduct a more stringent review process before deploying informants in “sensitive locations.” The change comes after Times report on the department’s decision to spy on a group planning protests against President Trump.
