Labor Day travelers see no major issues at Bay Area airports

Monday is the last hurrah for summer travel as many Americans are out and about for the Labor Day holiday.

Bay Area airports were busy but saw no major problems over the weekend. Bad weather caused issues at just one large airport in the U.S. — Dallas-Fort Worth International, where a number of flights were delayed.

The Transportation Security Administration predicted a record 17.4 million Americans would travel over the Labor Day holiday travel period that began last Thursday and extends to Wednesday.
