Joe Betz, owner of San Francisco’s famous House of Prime Rib restaurant, has died. He was 86.
House of Prime Rib is a destination for locals and visitors whose mouths water for 21-day aged prime rib, carved tableside.
Betz will also be remembered for his charitable work. He donated thousands of pounds of meat every year to holiday meals at Glide Memorial Church.
