Child Rushed to Emergency Room After Being Shot in South LA

A child was shot and rushed to the hospital in unknown condition Wednesday, Los Angeles police said.

The age and condition of the child was not immediately known, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The shooting occurred near the intersection of 41st Street Place and Woodlawn Avenue in South Los Angeles.
