California business leaders want voters to expedite state's environmental review process for housing, infrastructure

The California Chamber of Commerce is hoping to ask voters as early as next year to approve a major revision to the California Environmental Quality Act. The change would create new deadlines for environmental reviews in an effort to expedite housing and infrastructure projects.
