Bay Area Proud: Teen Photographer Turns Passion into Advocacy for Coyotes

Seventy-five residents were displaced Thursday evening when an apartment complex caught fire in San Jose.

The three-alarm fire was first called in at 5:11 p.m. in the 3000 block of David Avenue at a two-story, garden style apartment complex, San Jose Fire said.

The fire appears to have originated in an attic.

The fire was under control by 7 p.m., but 22 units were impacted and 75 people are now displaced, the fire department said. The Red Cross is assisting residents.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
