Bay Area home sales are up despite sales slowdown nationally

The Bay Area housing market continues to defy gravity even as the national market slows down.

Over the last year, housing sales across the United States are down. In the Bay Area, they’re up.

But with a traditionally slow season arriving, experts say there may be bargains to be had.
