At 'diamond in the rough' at Whittier Narrows, army of volunteers cleans up nature sanctuary

300 volunteers and cleanup of the murky San Gabriel Riverbed in an effort organized by the U.S. Army Corps’ of Engineers new team of four park rangers assigned to the nature sanctuary.
