3.3 magnitude earthquake rattles San Ramon

A preliminary 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck Monday, centered near San Ramon according to the United States Geological Survey.

The temblor was reported at 10:47 p.m. Monday and centered about 2 miles southeast of San Ramon, the USGS said.

Further information was not immediately available.
