A woman and a girl were shot and fatally wounded in Carson, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was about 8:50 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Alvo Avenue, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
When deputies arrived at the shooting scene, they discovered the woman and child each suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body and had already been taken to a hospital, Koerner said.
Information about the suspect and what led to the shootings was not available as the investigation continued, he said.
