A 69-year-old woman was found dead in a medical complex in Pasadena Sunday, authorities said.
The woman’s body was found around 2:55 p.m. near the intersection of Alessandro Place and Fair Oaks Avenue, Lt. Mark Goodman of the Pasadena Police Department said.
The woman was found on the north end of the parking lot and pronounced dead at the scene, Goodman said. The lieutenant said it appeared the woman was the victim of an assault.
Police were investigating the death as a homicide.
