Police chased a car through various cities in Los Angeles County Tuesday night.
The red SUV was driving northbound on the 5 Freeway. It crossed Montebello, Commerce, and Boyle Heights before making its way to the San Fernando Valley.
Police originally approached the stopped vehicle thinking it had been abandoned, before the driver took off.
