San Jose police reported an unlawful assembly at North 15th and Washington streets in San Jose Thursday night.
Units were on the scene responding to the crowd. Police said in a tweet that anyone who refused to disperse could be arrested.
The crowd has since dispersed, and police said that the unlawful assembly was declared after some acted violently toward a non-involved person.
An investigation is ongoing. No other information is immediately available.
