Two Arrests Made in Assault at Hollywood Metro Station

Two women were in custody Friday in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon and a possible hate crime charge at a Hollywood train station.

The assault was reported just before 4:50 p.m. at the Metro B Line station located at Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

An earlier report said that police were searching for a male suspect and that a child was injured.
